UNDER THE RIM GUEST HOUSE, which includes a bonus detached cottage, is located on a breathtaking one-acre scenic property directly "under the rim" of Bryce Canyon National Park! This is the perfect venue for those traveling as a family or group. This property sleeps up to 10 people. There are two full kitchens, four bedrooms, and three full bathrooms. So much space and all surrounded by amazing beauty!
This special property is located only 15 minutes from the national park. All our roads are paved. Come behold the iconic rock structures of "Sinking Ship", "Boat Mesa" and "Bristlecone Point" which are all on display before your eyes from under the rim! Our Guest House is literally only an arrow’s shot from the border of the Park. Hike into the national park from the "Tropic Trail Head" only 3 miles from our property.
This property has a lighting-fast FIBER OPTIC internet connection! It is centrally located for day trips out to the three national parks: Bryce Canyon National Park: 15 min, Zion National Park: 1 hr 25 min and Capitol Reef National Park: 2 hrs 15 min. It is located close to: Grand Staircase National Monument: 10 min, Kotachrome State Park: 21 min, Lower Calf Creek Falls: 1 hr 5 min, and Willis Creek Slot Canyon: 45 min. We are located just off of Scenic Byway 12 (rated by FoxNews as one of the most beautiful scenic byways in the world!). Come stay with us and use our location as your hub for experiencing the glories of southern Utah's national parks region.
The Main House and Cottage are both equipped with easy touchpad entry systems.

GETTING AROUND
TROPIC TRAIL is a great way to hike into Bryce Canyon National Park to see lots of Hoodoos and enjoy a unique hiking experience at the same time. The trailhead is located only about 3 miles from our Guest House.
DIRECTIONS: As you drive out of our Guest House driveway, follow our road back until it intersects with the next road (by the large rock sign). This is the intersection of “Under the Rim” road and “Bryce Way” road. Turn right at this intersection following this dirt road about 2 miles all the way until it dead-ends at the trailhead. When you arrive at the Tropic Trailhead, you will see a parking area where the road ends in a small cul-de-sac. At the national park border fence, is a permanent and safe step-ladder providing easy access over the fence to the Tropic Trail.

THE HIKE: This hike, up into the national park, is about 2.6 miles long. At first, you will traverse a lowland conifer forest section, then arrive at the breathtaking hoodoo rock structures about 2/3 of the way up the trail! The Tropic Trail is one of the “best kept secrets” at Bryce Canyon National Park! This trail will lead you to the famous national park trails: Peekaboo Loop, and Queen’s Garden/Navajo Loop considered by many to be the most beautiful 3-mile hike in the world!

Electric Car Owners: We have a standard electrical outlet conveniently located right next to our driveway for charging your electric car! There are also Tesla Charging Stations on main street in Tropic Town less than 2 miles from our guest house.
