Sisters Dream Inn

Just on the edge of Sisters with direct neighborhood access to hiking. These trails are easy walking - perfect for that morning walk with your dog. Good access to Bend and other areas for more challenging hikes. The town of Sisters has so many great locally owned stores and restaurants - definitely check it all out! Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. The cabin has large windows so you can watch the deer that seem to pass thru a couple of times a day. Very entertaining for our dog! The large deck area is a plus, as is the covered deck area. Very dog friendly, bowls and raised feeder was provided. Also provided was a basket of “dog” towels in the entry. Cozy cabin ambiance with comfortable beds and furniture. We enjoy cooking some meals when we travel and the kitchen was equipped enough for us. (Although the baking sheets could use an update.) The gas grill worked great. The supply of local coffee was a nice morning wake up! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning. Thanks for sharing this sweet cabin!

The cabin is a beautiful home, very posh log beams and rustic look without being short on comfort. The big back porch was great for early morning coffee and watching deer in the evening. Everything is labeled so clean up is simple and the hosts have all instructions posted. We were here in July, so it was hot and dry, which made the A/C super nice.

This cabin was very authentic, cozy and such a nice quiet retreat just outside of Sister's. When we arrived, there was snow on the ground, perfect to what I was hoping to encounter! We enjoyed the nice woodstove and the relaxing opportunities this cabin offers, especially after a day of shopping in town one day and another day of horseback riding. Our only wish was for a hot tub too! Well equipped with cooking supplies, dishes, etc. The 3 kids loved it too, as we brought games to play, snow was on the ground and they enjoyed the atmosphere! It snowed another 4-6 inches the night before we had to leave the next morning...wishing that we were staying another night! So another trip during the winter would be a delight!! Hopefully will be back someday

A great location near so much to do. I love that it wasn't in the heart of the town - it was so peaceful and quiet. It's close enough to drive to Sisters, which takes five minutes or so, but the wooded area and ample backyard made it so that my kids never really wanted to leave! We were there in December so it was snowy and icy, and the cabin feel of the house with the wood-burning stove created a magical feeling. We'll definitely be back!

We spent a week at the Sisters Dream Inn and it truly was a dream. The check in procedure was simple. The home is beautifully located on a large lot. Inside the home is welcoming and warm. Everything was very clean. Comfortable beds. Well stocked kitchen. The owners clearly take a lot of pride in ensuring their guests are comfortable and happy. We had some very minor issues that were taken care of immediately.

Between everyone's schedules, we had a small, 4 day window to reconnect with each other, husband, 2 sons and our dog, relax and adventure, eat good food, see the sights, etc. We accomplished everything on our list and cannot wait to return, possibly in the winter to help break in that new gorgeous fireplace! I found I enjoyed looking at the beautiful craftsmanship of the home, drinking coffee and watching deer on the back porch, evening ping pong tourneys and card games before and after days adventuring the nearby rivers, lava field and of course Sisters!

The cabin and property were beautiful. Located in a nice neighborhood with easy access to down Sisters and other nearby hikes. We brought two dogs that loved roaming around the property. The beds were very comfortable and we enjoyed all of the amenities (full kitchen, grill, coffee maker, ping pong table, etc.). We were unable to use the indoor fireplace because of current fire restrictions. As others have noted, it is a one-bedroom cabin with a lofted area (versus two bedrooms). Would recommend for a nice cabin getaway, and would stay here again.

Only a short drive from the heart of Sisters, and all the amenities you could need. Hosts were incredibly communicative, and made sure we were well taken care of. I brought my energetic pup along, and he loved all the space to roam on the property and get the zoomies out. I’m a coffee snob, and the coffee provided was from roasters in Vernonia. A real nice touch! Would absolutely recommend.

This cabin was just what my pup and I needed for a relaxing retreat! It’s cozy and had all the amenities I needed to enjoy my time at “home” and was just a hop skip and a jump to so many fun spots to explore outdoors. We had such a lovely stay at this cabin! We were a group of 4 adults plus one baby and a dog, and the space was perfect for all of us. Loved the neighborhood - quiet and perfect for walks, and we saw lots of deer roaming around! Short drive to Sisters for food & drinks but we also appreciated the full kitchen set up. We stayed here to be near Hoodoo ski resort for a race day, and it was very convenient. Would definitely visit again!

We had a good time at this cabin, especially because there are plenty of trails that you can access from just down the street. We stayed for 4 nights and loved the location - we hiked on the nearby trails, went to Smith Rock, and to Bend. The interior of the cabin was a bit dated and dark, but it wasn't a huge deal to us. The check in and communication were easy and we were very comfortable there. As others have mentioned, it's really a 1 bedroom cabin with a loft. We didn't use the bed upstairs, but if you had a larger group and were expecting 2 actual bedrooms, you might be disappointed. Really the highlight was the ability to hike for miles and have our dog off-leash without having to drive to get there. The trails can be found at the end of the evacuation route - this isn't listed in the guest book and we might have missed them if we hadn't read a previous guests' comments.

What a wonderful getaway to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary!! Cabin was cozy yet large enough if wanted to bring kids with us next time. Property beautiful!! Very clean with plenty of supplies and all kitchen needs. Lots of snow when we arrived which made is magical! Could have snowshoed outside property, we drove pups just up the road to let them run free while we snowshoed. Short drive to sisters for shops and dining We will definitely be back! Thank you!

We had three people and plenty to do in the house and out. My favorite thing was the wood burning stove! The house is big and comfortable, and the hosts are excellent communicators. The kitchen was well stocked and everything was labeled!

This is our second time staying at this cabin and we love it. It's in a perfect location with quick access to downtown Sisters or the McKenzie Hwy which gives you access to numerous forest roads. We also love the wood burning fireplace which easily warms the house and makes for a cozy and relaxing stay.

It was a super cozy spot for our family and we just loved how truly dog friendly it was - many rentals that allow dogs don't actually seem very dog friendly but it was clear that they were truly welcome here which made it so much easier to relax and have a good time.

Sisters is a great place in Oregon and you’ll want to spend some time there. Try to find a site that is quiet, away from the noise of traffic. Look around and see the peace, the beautiful landscape, the stars at night… and hope & pray that it continues being something that you will enjoy.

My husband and I live in a city and wanted to get away to a peaceful quiet place. And Sisters Log Cabin was that. It's a Log Cabin with real logs all over the house. The other houses are far away and you feel like you are all alone. The night sky is stunning. We were able to bring our dog. We would definitely come back here.

I was in absolute awe every time I walked into this adorable little log cabin! It was exactly what I was hoping for in terms of a cozy atmosphere and location. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood, but still has plenty of space and privacy and is a short 10 minute drive to Downtown Sisters. I appreciated the homey touches that made our stay comfortable and easy such as providing dishes, pots and pans, spices, games, movies, books, extra blankets, laundry detergent, there was even a sewing machine, you name it! It snowed during our stay and it was magical sitting out on the porch drinking hot cocoa, playing in the snow, and then sitting by the beautiful fireplace at night. We look forward to coming back again!

The location of this charming cabin can't be beat! We had a magical stay with our two young children and dog. We loved being able to access the Deschutes National Forest by foot and spent lots of time there. It also is a great base for exploring all that the area has to offer; we skied, sledded, explored a cave, and so much more. Wildlife abounds. It's super dog friendly! The interior is older but that didn't bother us; lots of games and books for the kids and beds are comfy. There is so much space, it was great to walk out the door and be in nature. A much-needed respite from the pandemic and city. The only thing is I echo other reviews that say it really is a 1 bedroom plus loft. The second bed is separated only by a curtain. If you are not all going to bed and waking up at the same time, or if you need privacy, this is a concern. Otherwise lovely.

My children and I stayed here for a weekend to celebrate my 40th birthday. The cabin was lovely. The area was quiet and peaceful. The location was extremely convenient for anywhere we wanted to go, whether it was to town or to go play in the forest and sightsee. The cabin itself has so much space inside and out. It is great for both kids and your pets. The deer were plentiful around the area, which the children loved. This cabin has so much charm. Even if you’re just looking to stay put somewhere, this cabin has plenty to keep you occupied. I simply can’t say enough to describe how wonderful this place is. It was everything we wanted and more. We’ll definitely be going back!

Our only wish was for a hot tub too! Well equipped with cooking supplies, dishes, etc. The 3 kids loved it too, as we brought games to play, snow was on the ground and they enjoyed the atmosphere! It snowed another 4-6 inches the night before we had to leave the next morning...wishing that we were staying another night! So another trip during the winter would be a delight!! Hopefully will be back someday

Beautiful log home nestled in the pines with an inviting fireplace and comfortable surroundings. Will definitely come again! Also very convenient to Sisters and Hoodoo ski slopes. Perfect for families and pets!

The cabin is a beautiful home, very posh log beams and rustic look without being short on comfort. The big back porch was great for early morning coffee and watching deer in the evening. Everything is labeled so clean up is simple and the hosts have all instructions posted. We were here in July, so it was hot and dry, which made the A/C super nice.
