This area of Oregon has many National Forests to visit. We wish we had more time to check out all of the water falls, but made it to several. There is the High Desert Museum near by and a Lava Bed Monument park as well. Gosh, not to mention the fish hatchery…

Hosts have done a great job with the place and their attention to detail. For example, the deck and picnic tables were recently sanded and stained. The outside fire wood box had a cloth door on it (to prevent snow from getting on the wood stack). The kitchen was well stocked and the hosts had a great activity binder for a good head start to Sisters, Oregon. Nice job Frank and Kathy!

I looked for something quiet, private yet convenient to goods and services. This cabin was perfect, an ideal getaway for a couple. Beautifully cared for and maintained. The owner was welcoming and ever so helpful, concerned for our every comfort. Then they left us completely alone to soak in the meadow view and serenity. A pleasant walk to downtown but probably not for just a meal.

The location is on a quiet meadow with lots of birds to watch. Only a mile from downtown Sisters. We didn’t want to be around town crowds this trip, so it was perfect. Bed was comfortable, kitchen was good and I spent all day and evening on the big deck. We are in our 70s and the stairs to the loft needed some getting used to (we don’t have stairs at home) and the bathroom is downstairs.

We also booked this house at short notice and it was one of the nicest accommodations we had during the 4 week trip in the Northeast of the USA. The house is so lovingly furnished and has a perfect size. The fresh flowers were the icing on the cake. The view of nature is magical. We walked into the lovely town and there you can find everything you need. Kathy and Frank are delightful hosts and the whole property is gorgeous. We would love to come back and would be happy to recommend the house.

Wonderful location that feels far from everything but is walking/biking distance to town. We loved the deck & the view! Hosts were very friendly & brought us beautiful flowers & some chocolate. It is a lovely little house & location!

Beautiful setting. Immaculately clean. Gorgeous vista with a resident outdoor mighty white Persian kitty lurking the property with great majesty. Hosts were friendly and welcoming. Nicely appointed place. I did have to purchase my own cinneman but that is minor compared to all else!

Perfect weekend trip to this cabin! We came into town for a house showing but wanted to enjoy the natural surroundings rather than staying at a hotel. Our stay was peaceful and enjoyable. Would absolutely stay again.

Lovely place on a lovely piece of property. My partner and I stayed here with one of our couple friends (four of us total). The description says it sleeps 4, with a queen bed in the loft, a twin XL in the loft, and a double fouton. I don't expect a person could sleep on the fouton, as the pad was about 4ft x 4ft. So really only the queen bed and the twin XL, so I would say it sleeps 3 comfortably. Luckily my partner and I brought a queen air mattress we used on the floor instead. With that being said, it was clean, well stocked, plenty of towels and firewood, and the property owners were nothing but friendly in the couple interactions we had with them. We walked into downtown Sisters via the quiet neighborhood roads, and the walk took about 20 minutes. Not bad at all. I would stay here again if it were just my partner and I.

This is a sweet cabin with a meadow and sky view and great places on the deck and around the cabin to settle in with a good book. Very nicely equipped and very comfortable. We had a chance to meet the owners. Such lovely people. Thank you!

This is one of those reviews I hate to write. This place is perfect and people always ruin great things. I want to keep this little gem all for myself, but I know that great reviews are important for the hosts. The location is ideal; less than a mile to town, but oh so quiet and relaxing. Spent almost every night sitting on the deck enjoying the scenery. Everything I needed was provided for me in this cabin. I didn’t want to ever leave.

Everything that was mentioned in the advertisement was present. The owners live next door and are particularly friendly! Upon arrival, the wood stove was on and there were flowers on the table. You feel very welcome there.

Beautiful clean home in a perfect location just on the edge of town but feels more wild & rural. The wood-fired stove is easy to lite and heats up the whole place (backup electric wall heaters help as well). Well-stocked kitchen with everything you need to cook. We appreciated the thoughtful touches like using bird seed to make walkway ice less slippery. Loft has two sleeping areas (queen and full) separated by a closet (but no doors between spaces). Has a CD player, but bring your own speaker if you want to stream music (no AUX input).
